The Classic

Held on the courts of St. Pete Athletic, the Classic brings together the region's amateur field for a weekend of championship-caliber pickleball — friends, family, and club members gathered courtside for two days of competition and celebration.

After hosting Major League Pickleball this year, St. Pete Athletic quickly became one of the top venues for professional players in the country.We are home to the Major League Pickleball team, Florida Smash, and serve as the training location for many top MLP and PPA pros on a daily basis.Now is your chance to play and experience what it's like to be a pro!

The Grounds

St. Pete Athletic features 14 pickleball courts and 2 padel courts inside a 50,000-square-foot, air-conditioned facility. Courts are cushioned with CushionX flooring, fitted with permanent nets, and equipped with PodPlay technology for scorekeeping, instant replays, and tournament play.St. Pete Athletic is also home to Roses Dining and Drinks, a scratch kitchen serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner; Old Florida charm with a Country Club edge.

Tournament FAQ

How much is it to register?

Each division costs $60 per team (or $30 per player). This price is the same no matter how many divisions you want to enter. There are no additional fees to play outside of the registration fee.

Do I need a membership?

No, players registering for the tournament can be members or guests.

Is there parking available?

Yes, complimentary parking is available on site.

Can I bring food and drinks?

As we are a full-service restaurant, we ask that you do not bring outside food and beverage into St Pete Athletic. Hydration stations will be provided for all guests, as well as options to purchase breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
